General information
We are announcing the beta version of the Raymaster 10 for SPIE Telescope and Instrumentation 2024 in Yokohama. General availability will be in Q3 2024. The hardware and low level stack of the software are ready. We also provide a primary version of the user interface. It is basic but there is everything to calibrate the instrument and take absolute measurements of the surface shape of reflective objects simply, efficiently, and accurately, whether they are plane, spherical, cylindrical, asphere, even freeforms objects, you name it. Our instrument works with all of them, without any additional costly accessory. You will have the opportunity to formulate your feature requests and to see them developped in priority, as much as possible.
Early adopters are precious for all companies so we would like to offer exceptionnal terms and conditions to you, under the form of a « Try and buy » program. The concept is :
- Order and receive a Raymater 10 full configuration now,
- Try it for one month,
- Send it back or keep it and pay it only then.
In addition, we offer a 20% discount on the price of the instrument package for SPIE Telescope and Instrumentation 2024.
The discount is limited to the first 10 orders (based on the date of receival by Wyse Light by email).

Contracting
If you are ok, we require you to sign our « Early adopter try and buy program » sales contract in the first place.
Shipping
There is a deposit of EUR 5.000 that you pay only when the instrument is ready to ship. Shipping is by plane, so it will take only several days. Shipping will be handled by UPS or FEDEX.
Installation
You will be free to test our instrument for one month. It is self installable in 30 minutes or so by one person only. No tools are needed. It is very easy to setup and operate. We provide videos that explain the process. Nevertheless, since we want our customers to feel comfortable, we will send you an engineer to setup everything, show you how it works, and make various tests with your team.
Trial period
You keep and use the instrument as much as you like for one month after receipt. We plan a call for the end of the trial period so that we can make together a review of your experience and hear your decision whether you want to keep it or not.
End of trial, decision
At the end of the free trial period, two possible options : whether you pay it and you keep it, or you send in back to us.
If you send it back, we keep the deposit to cover all our costs, We organize the return of the instrument. Be sure to keep the packaging and return all the parts.
If you keep the instrument, we keep the deposit and you pay only EUR 55.000 more upon receipt of our invoice (the planned public price after general availability will be EUR 75.000, excluding tax).
Maintenance
Hardware and software maintenance are included in the trial period.
Since it is likely that we will develop and release many new features in the months ahead of general availability, there is an optional support contract in addition that covers hardware and software as well. The support contract is EUR 7.500 for one year. It includes online customer support by email, chat, phone, and video call, by our technical team. It also includes bug resolutions if any, as well as new features release (self download and installation of new software versions). We are open to new features requests. Hardware maintenance is by express shipping of replacement parts. It is included in the contract only in case of a defective part. In case of loss or damage, the cost of the replacement part will be charged to your company. At the end of the contract, you will be given the choice to renew hardware support and software support separately.
